To all supporters of Combined Events
The champion of combined events, crowned “King of Athletes” and “Queen of Athletes.”
The athletes’ deadly competition in all the elements of track and field – short distance, middle and long distance, leaping, and throwing – is a moving sight to behold.
We became friends through Combined Events, and for the past 30 years, we have been working together to improve cooperation and to let the world know how interesting and wonderful Combined Events can be through various projects and events.
At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Japan’s first female heptathlete competed in the Olympics; at the 2012 London Olympics, Japan’s first male decathlete to compete in the Olympics in 48 years; and at the 2016 Rio Olympics, we saw the heroic efforts of two decathletes representing Japan.
Unfortunately, we were unable to send Japan’s representatives in both the decathlon and heptathlon to the Tokyo Olympics. However, the Paris Olympics will be held in 2024. The challenge and support for combined events will continue as the World Championships are scheduled to be held in Tokyo in 2025.
This website was launched to provide an opportunity to create a large circle of friends who support Combined Events.
As in the past, we will continue to work steadily, one step at a time, but by all means, let’s connect, enjoy, and support the Combined Events together.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Good day, 2024 All Friends of Combined Events Volunteers
